What I’ve Learned About Professionalism in Just One Semester

If there’s one thing I’ve learned early as a business major, it’s that professionalism starts now — not after graduation. Whether it’s writing emails with clarity, dressing confidently for a career fair, or speaking up during team projects, small actions build your reputation. UNT has helped me start thinking like a future professional, and I’m excited to continue refining that mindset.

The business world is evolving rapidly, and I want to be part of shaping that future. UNT’s business program stood out to me for its commitment to career readiness and real-world applications. I’m looking forward to internships, case studies, and the chance to grow into a leader who drives impact.

But the most valuable lessons came from outside the lecture halls — like networking at campus events and managing my time effectively. UNT’s vibrant campus and supportive professors are making this transition both exciting and empowering.
